Kinetiq Sports Biomechanics Institute exists to bridge the gap between laboratory research and applied coaching practice. We believe biomechanics research only creates value when it reaches the coaches, therapists, and engineers who can act on it.
We run an annual research symposium, publish a peer-reviewed journal in partnership with an academic publisher, award research grants to early-career investigators, and maintain a working-with-coaches programme that translates published findings into practical guidance.
Kinetiq is governed by an elected executive board of practicing researchers, serving fixed terms. Board elections are held during the annual symposium and are open to all current members in good standing.
